Testing Email Addresses  

LinkAlarm will validate all email addresses appearing on the pages of your site.

To validate an email address LinkAlarm attempts to deliver a message, but no email is actually sent.


The Email Addresses section of your report will list all email addresses found and the pages on which they occur. If validation is ON, failures are also reported.

Due to the additional load on our systems, email address validation is not available on trial reports. If you've ordered more pages for your LinkAlarm service, email address validation is performed automatically.

NOTE: False positive results (where LinkAlarm reports an email address is OK but really it isn't) can occur where the primary mail host accepts all email for a domain and other mailservers subsequently reject the address.
